He is a member of Veterans for Peace
which continues to grow as an important advocate of reason, restraint
and non-violent resolution of conflict. Veterans for Peace members
engage in educational forums and work in coalition with other peace
and justice organizations to mount demonstrations and attend vigils.
As a member of Vietnam Veterans Against
the War, the core belief is: “We believe that
service to our country and communities did not end when we were
discharged. We remain committed to the struggle for peace and for
social and economic justice for all people. We will continue to
oppose senseless military adventures and to teach the real lessons
of the Vietnam War. We will do all we can to prevent another generation
from being put through a similar tragedy and we will continue to
demand dignity and respect for veterans of all eras. This is real
patriotism and we remain true to our mission”.
"There are only two things we should fight for. One is the
defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for
any other reason is simply a racket."
Smedley Butler, Major General USMC [1933]

Peace cannot be achieved through violence; it can only be attained
through understanding.
Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)
"I knew that I could never again raise my voice against the
violence of the oppressed... without having first spoke clearly
to the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today: my own
government. For the sake of those boys, for the sake of this government,
for the sake of the hundreds of thousands trembling under our violence,
I cannot be silent."
Martin Luther King
Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children
of God.
Matthew, V:9
To reach peace, teach peace.
Pope John Paul II
Here then, is the problem we present to you, stark and dreadful
and inescapable: Shall we put an end to the human race; or shall
mankind renounce war?
The Russell-Einstein Manifesto, 1955
Who is your spiritual hero?
Is it Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad, Krishna, Gandhi, Martin Luther King?
What is it they all believed?
Is it compassion, love, caring, understanding; that we are all the
same, that we are all brothers and sisters, that we are one?
What is it you believe?
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Love thy neighbor
as thyself. Give and you shall receive. What you sow so shall you
reap. What you give, you get. What goes around comes around. The
law of attraction. The power of intention.
Do you practice your beliefs?
Be PEACE
